Sunday Morning Gatherings

Our morning begins with a prayer meeting from 9:45 to 10:15 – everyone is welcome, whether you love to pray out loud or simply sit and listen.

From 10:00 to 10:25, we serve tea and coffee, so feel free to come early, grab a drink, and enjoy a chat.

At 10:15, our Worship Band begins playing as people start to gather, and we officially kick things off with a welcome at 10:30.

Our gathering usually lasts between 60–90 minutes, with a relaxed and joyful mix of modern worship songs, a few classic hymns, and even the occasional action song! Most people join in the singing, but there’s absolutely no pressure—feel free to take it at your own pace.

During our time together, we’ll share some updates about what’s going on in Church life, read from the Bible, and hear a relevant, down-to-earth talk. We’ll also take time to pray and respond together to what God is doing.

Our gatherings are relaxed and friendly, and you’re free to engage in whatever way feels comfortable for you. We love having children with us – don’t worry if they wander or make noise! It’s all part of the joyful sound of worshipping together as a Church family.

Visiting for the First Time

We love welcoming visitors to our Church family gatherings – you’re so welcome here!

While we don’t have on-site parking, there’s a convenient car park just around the corner on Castle Road, and the good news is it’s free on Sundays!

If you’re bringing someone who might find the walk difficult, feel free to arrive about 10 minutes early. You can drop them off right outside the Church on our driveway, and we’ll make sure they’re warmly looked after while you go and park.

As you arrive, our friendly Welcome Team will be ready to greet you with a smile, hand you our latest bulletin, help you find a seat, and introduce you to someone so you feel right at home.

Children & Youth Groups

We love having the children and young people with us as we begin and we try to ensure they’re engaged before the leave to go to their groups for age appropriate activities. On the first Sunday of the month we have an ‘All-In’ gathering where all ages remain together. This also has the benefit of giving our group leaders a much needed rest.

Our Sunday morning groups usually follow the same topic as the adult gathering (with occasional exceptions). We hope this will help church family from all generations to be able to engage together on a topic whichever group they are in and help each other to grow.

Seeds
[birth to age 3]

We have a Creche called ‘The Greenhouse’ which is supervised by parents & helpers once the other groups leave.

Seedlings
[age 3 to Yr 1]

We meet in the Lounge and spend some time with the Saplings and some on our own.

Saplings
[Yr 2 to Yr 5]

We also meet in the Lounge and enjoy time on our own and with the Seedlings.

Rooted
[Yr 6 to Yr 9]

We start with a light breakfast before enjoying a mixture of games, activities and discussions.

Seeds is the beginning of a faith journey; at RBC we want to see seeds of faith planted in the hearts of our youngest children as they begin to connect with God (so we ensure they get the best possible start in the Greenhouse). Seedlings and Saplings describe young and growing plants, if cared for and given the right conditions, they will grow bigger and stronger. We want to see the depth and strength of our children’s faith grow. We want to see young people become Rooted in Jesus; to firmly anchor their faith in Him in order to have a faith that lasts beyond their school years

Live Stream

If you are not able to join us in person, the live-streamed of the gathering will begin at 10:15:
