Children
Playaway
Our stay and play toddler group offers a safe, friendly environment where Parents, Grandparents and Carers can enjoy time with their little ones (0 – 5 yrs) playing and interacting with other children, and where the adults are able to find a warm welcome, chat and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee while it is still hot! We offer a wide range of activities including a different craft each week, ride on toys, musical instruments, home role play area, transport and animal toys, dinosaurs, puzzles, building blocks/sticklebricks, and a large baby area with soft mats.
Gatherings
On Sunday morning people of all ages gather together for a time of worship, after which the children head out to their own groups for activities, teaching & prayer.
Youth
Youth Life Group
We run a Youth Life group for school years 6-9 on Thursday evenings. It is a great time for young people to meet together during the week. We meet in houses of people in the church family to share food, games and have discussions relevant to young people’s current experiences. We hope that during this time they will form friendships and support networks with each other and members of the church family.
For more information about these groups, please contact: youth@rayleighbaptist.org.uk

Brigades
Girls’ Brigade
Our aim is to support girls (from 4-18 yrs) to develop the confidence and skills they need to navigate life as they grow up. We explore Bible stories and the Christian faith and find out how these can help us to develop a positive attitude towards life. Our girls enjoy making friends outside of their school contacts and know that Girls’ Brigade is a place where they can feel safe and accepted for who they are.
Boys’ Brigade
From games, craft, stories, cooking to challenges, new skills and outings, there’s plenty of fun to be had at Boys’ Brigade and badges to be won. Our weekly activities enable children and young people to grow and develop in confidence, resilience, wellbeing and life skills in a Christian environment. We are a place where children and young people can feel safe and able to be themselves, no matter what their background or needs are.
